Dr. L. M. Darlong Is One Of The Handful Surgeons In India, Dedicated To The Care Of Non – Cardiac Thoracic Chest Diseases with over 20 years of experience. His practice focus on Thoracic oncology / lung cancer surgery and chest wall deformity also known as pectus deformity.

Dr. Darlong Earned His Medical Degree From Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal And MS From the prestigious AIIMS,New Delhi, He Completed His Residency In Thoracic Surgery From AIIMS Delhi. He Earned His Fellowship In Thoracic Surgery From Korea University Medical Centre Anam Hospital, South Korea. He Is A Certified Davinci Console Robotic Surgeon From Atlanta, US.

Dr. Darlong Pioneered the  Advanced NUSS Procedure For Pectus Deformity In India And Is The First In The Country To Perform Advanced NUSS Procedure Using Technique Of Pectoscopy and Crane Lift. He has Innovated Pectus Tunneloscopy And Moon Bridge Fixation Techniques along with the Cross Bar application which has been published in medical journals.

He exclusively runs the “Chest Wall Deformity Clinic” in Delhi, India.and is the only centre in India routinely performing the Nuss procedure with more than a Decade of performing the Nuss procedure in India. Dr Darlong’s “Chest Wall Deformity Clinic” has served patients from India as well as International patients from South Asia, Middle east, Africa, South America, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Dr. Darlong Is A Diligent Medical Scholar With Publications In Various Indexed Journals And Is Also A Reviewer In Various National And International Journals Of Repute. He Is Presently Working As Chief Of Thoracic Oncosurgery at the premiere Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Rohini, Delhi, India.
